What will you learn?
Soil science (in practical, easy to understand terms!)
How to grow healthy stems and healthy blooms (where do you find organic, healthy nitrogen sources? And what is the best organic source of phosphorous? and which of these is applied when — and for what?)
Medicinal plant science
Ecology (pollinator health, friend and foe pests., exploring our connection to place and nature, responsible land ethics)
Current topics of ‘regenerative agriculture’ rhetoric (deconstructing terminology, finding shared understanding, etc.)
What do you get?
Take home, beyond organic plant starts and your own seed-starting packs
An informational booklet which outlines workshop content and provides easy to follow instructions
A decade of organic growing (lessons, connections, resources, money and time saving tips, successes, mistakes, GROWTH) distilled into 1.5 hours of instruction
Support from grower Amy via email and a follow-up virtual/phone consult
